When I try to disconnect my Iomega prestige desktop hard drive 1.5TB from my laptop using safely remove hardware I keep getting an error message saying "Windows can't stop your 'Generic volume' device because it is in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and then try again later. I cant see that any program is using it as it isn't actually doing anything ie 'clicking or flashing' Thanks in anticipation Sue:
