P4 motherboard marked can support ATA / 100, but why ATA / 33?

    A P4 motherboard can support ATA / 100, hard disk and signal lines also can support ATA / 100, and also installed the corresponding ATA / 100 drivers, but when system self-check, just show support ATA / 33

    yes ,we do use 80 pin, and I' sure that I have right line position, it will be hard drive problem ?if it is , how to do

    where did you see ata / 33 ? did you check the bios to see what ata it says there?
    what os are yo running?

    tell us which hard drive you have and what motherboard you have.
    otherwise i don't know what else to tell you.
