    Hi,

If the processor is getting over heated and the fan is working, you may need to reapply thermal paste or a thermal pad to the processor/bottom of the heatsink. If the paste gets old and dries up it cannot conduct heat as well to the heatsink which will let your processor get hot. You can also try cleaning out the inside and components of the laptop in case there is dust building up inside of it. Make sure air vents are free from dust as that can prevent the airflow inside the laptop, trapping the heat inside. Also, if you do not want the laptop to hibernate, you can go to the windows start button - settings - control panel - power options - then click on the hibernate tab and uncheck the box that allows the laptop to hibernate.

first of all, are the fans working ? Can you hear the systems fan coming on ? I would differently take it apart a check it out, Or it will over heat and either blow up or will fry the cpu...

To get into the Bio's, You will have to push on startup, either the DEL key, or F1 or F2, Once into the bio's, try to set the Bio's to Default or Optimized..
