Long-story short: My motherboard is stuck in my case.

    This is my first build.

It basically feels like the I/O is stuck in the panel, and the board is stuck on the standoff. I can't get the jacks out of the panel or the board from the standoff.

I've been applying enough force, but I don't want to break it.

The problem standoff is pretty much right beside the inside of the case, so I can't even pull up from that side, but I can from all of the other sides of the motherboard (causing it to bend slightly).

Would I be better off trying to push the panel through (probably breaking or bending it)? That's about the only thing I can think of. I can't unscrew the standoff from behind.

Here are some pictures of my problem.

Here is my motherboard in my case. The left middle standoff is the problem standoff. It seems that it is stuck on it.

A close up, although a bit blurry.

Here is a picture of the panel from behind. It may seem that the board might be stuck on the panel, keeping me from lifting it up out of the case?

Here is a picture of the other side of my case. The one on the right is the problem standoff. I've tried turning it from behind but it just striped the screw.

It seems that maybe the metal panel around the external connections may be the problem. It can usually be pried out form outside or pushed out from inside. If you are replacing the mother board the new on should come with the proper panel for that board. Hope this helps.
