What Operating System are you using ? Did you install the sata drivers for your hard drive ?

    Hi,

I would check in the BIOS to see if there is an option to Enable/disable the sata ports. I have seen this on Dell computers where you have to enable the port inside the BIOS, and then it reads the drive plugged into it fine. It may be under a drives heading or SATA heading in your BIOS.
