    Hey, first post here.

I've had this computer for quite a while, and the graphics capabilities have been really really annoying me. I can't really play any new games, and if I can, it runs poorly.

I've decided to try to get a graphics card. I'm currently integrated (NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430).

I've had a look on PC Wizard and I'm PRETTY sure I can get a new video card. But I don't know what video card would work. These are my motherboard specs (please tell me if you need any more information, I don't want to clutter up this post so much)

I'm just wondering if anyone can provide me with links to video cards that are in the £70-100 range, that would work on my machine, and that would be able to run some new games on medium-high quality with good fps?

edit: I had a look, and would you guys think that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti would work on my computer?

It depends on how powerful your power supply is. A 550 Ti will run about 115 watts. and your processor will probably take up around 95 watts. You don't want to run you power supply at its max rated wattage all the time. A 550 Ti would be pretty good for gaming and would definitely outpace your current integrated graphics. Based on your motherboard you can run this card, but I dont believe your expansion slot is pci-e 2.0 which means this card might not operate at its full capacity. You could still use it but it wouldn't be at its max potential. However, like I said earlier though, you need to check on that power supply. You can google HP G5105uk to get a full list of specs on your pc. I believe you might have a 300 watt power supply in there which means you might want to look at a slightly more powerful one. Maybe in the 400 - 480 watt range. Good Luck
