My question is what kind of video card can I put in a Ax1930-Es30P Acer Aspire desktop. It's smaller than usual, and I need a upgrade for games. Any suggestions?

I'm having a hard time determining what expansion slots the machine comes with. I think I have a pretty good idea, but with pre-built systems from larger OEMs, sometime, certain expansion options just physically aren't there.

If you could, pop off the side of the case and take a picture of the motherboard.

One of my friends had a pc very similar to this one. Two big problems you'll run into with a new video card for that are 1. you're going to have a very tough time finding a good video card that fits in that slim case and 2. you will most definitely need a more powerful power supply for anything good at gaming. I believe that pc comes with a 220 watt power supply which is just enough to handle what's already in there and you'll have a tough time getting a power supply more than 300 watts that fits in that case. So you might consider a bigger case and power supply if you want to upgrade that video card. And your pci-e slot is only a pci-e 1.0 (or 1.1 I dont remember) but most of today's video cards are pci-e 2.0 or 2.1 (some are even 3.0) so think about that first too. It wont necessarily ruin the idea but it just means your video card may not run at full potential. Anyway there's my 2 cents. Good luck ;)
