I tried everything to get it fromm 44KB down to under 20KB...but then I couldn't figure out how to reduce the pixels... I even took the colour out of it...guess I should've come to you first :good: maybe you could have done it with the original...but it still looks good...thanks :good: I drew the tiger for a zoo in moncton...harrack52 probably knows the place...the magnetic hill zoo...as part of a tee-shirt design... but they opted for another tiger I drew that had a little girl beside it
I don't know this place. As for your image (I'm guessing you're speaking of your avatar), if you have Photoshop, go to File/Save for the Web. Here you can optimize your image. You can play with the different formats, transparency and quality of the image. The PNG-24 format gives you the best quality but takes much more space than a GIF. You'll probably need to save it as a gif. There is a special option for black & white images, you should check it out. If you do not have Photoshop, you can download the trial version which I'm sure has enough options enabled for you to optimize it the way you want.
Harrack52...I'm suprised!...you've never heard of the Magnetic Hill?...it's one of only about seven natural optical illusions in the whole world...or, were you just speaking of the zoo? I did the original artwork in ink and watercolour...the tiger is suppose to look like he's laughing...and I have several copies in various places on my computer...most of my artwork, unfortunately, I don't have because I no longer own it... Is Kodak Imaging as good as Photoshop...or should I get the Photoshop...cause some of my older pieces need a good cleaning?
What's Gimp...ninja? Is it like Photoshop? oh!..by the way..I checked out your weblog...you don't like the Shaq much do you... :good: I'm not a Laker fan either...don't watch much basketball lately...can't even say I have a team anymore...but I used to like the Celtics and the Pistons :good:
yeh I noticed that... I managed to get it down to 18KB...then it came back from you at 2KB :good: ..don't know how you did it but if you could tell me I'll apply it to my other artwork and free up some space on my computer...some of my drawings are over 1MB...I've got about seven laughing tigers on my computer now...cause I would send the image to either kodak imaging or my scanner and try to crop and alter it...then save it so I could check the size in my documents...then go back and do it again...until I got it under the maximum 20KB thanks again! :good:
no problem, If you plan to editing? then its good to keep the originals! I simply cropped the original you sent me then resized it, that’s all. edit: I just printed the lion pic looks good!
thanks...that lion cub was actually part of a much larger drawing...but I cropped it...because I only wanted to save part of the image :good:I'm assuming you got the whole file...or are you talking about the tiger?because I do have a lion cub in the file... :good: feel free to use the images for your own use...but I plan to package them as part of an Art Scrapbook for sale through my website...along with other pieces I've drawn and contributions from other artists I know...all except..of course..the girls....hehehe!...Their legs go up to make an a..ss of themselves!
are you talking about this lion? this lion's actual size is about the size of a postcard...like any artwork...it doesn't look as good if it's enlarged past it's original size...and looks better when reduced :good:
