I managed to bend the pins on my processor! bad news! my mother board is k8t neo ms6702 ver1.0 with socket 754 and the processor sempron 3100+ with part number sda3100aip3ax.like to like replacement will be the easy option but need help if it is possible to upgrade the processor this time. compatibility list does exist but being of retired age and limited knowledge am unable to establish what best upgrade option to get more speed if possible at all! any help on this identifying best option with details of the cpu part no. will be much appreciated. thanking in advance.
