Build Or Buy?

    My build from 2006? has failed. I am not going to try and fix it because of the age of all the components.

    I am going to run Win 7

    I have about a $500 budget. I mostly surf the web, a few fps games infrequently, COD , some music stuff and movies.

    Any suggestions?

    What were the specs you had? What's wrong with it? I'm trying to see what still works, and so far I'm assuming the mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, and drives are usable. That leaves the motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU and power supply as needing the upgrade.
