DVI will be better for a flat panel monitor. Better, clearer picture I think

I'm running a 6600GT & a 19" VideoSeven LCD and i run it via DVI as you get a better image. (slightly).

I kinda have the same question...sorta. My LCD monitor is VGA only, but I have a adapter (one end VGA, the other DVI). Does it make a difference if I use it? Or won't it because its just an adapter?

I'm probably wrong but I think that adapters are usually just for compatability purposes. So chances are it won't change anything?

Thats what I was thinking but was not for sure. I tried using it, but I noticed no difference in quality. Thanks.
