I recently installed my new wireless router, a LINKSYS Wireless-G Broadband Router (Firmware Version 3.03.6), in order to share my Internet-connection. One computer is connected to the router using the wireless function and two others are connected with traditional LAN-cables. All machines are XP. But every now and then (especially when transfering large files between two clients or simply playing WoW on the Internet) the router disrupts both WAN- and LAN-connection for all computers connected and needs to be rebooted in order to function properly again. Really bugs me. Any ideas?

Just irritates the hell outta me...It should be more than capable of dealing with the traffic of three machines! Max connections are about 100 or so! Your last router you say? So did you find one with enough brains to handle the situation?

lol it died on me eventually, i was running 3 pcs off it as well.

I got a D-Link wireless adsl router, about 120 quid, and that is superb.
