right i just get this board new and put my new athlon xp 3000 in it with teh ram but yet the fans start up but i cant get to the bios any ideas or is the board fucked ???????? i am so tried it with the hard drive and that in there is power but just nothing else?
 
Check all connections are secure.
Clear your CMOS.
Check that your CPU HSF is mounted properly and that your RAM is seated aswell.
 
yup did all that took it all to bits again and started again have tried another case incase it was one of the mounts but nope i have it sitting right here and its running but just nothing on the screen
 
right u know the main board the

procceser = athlon xp 3000
ram = kingston 2 x 512 strips of 333
seagate 20g hard drive about a year old
lg cd r again old oh and a 3d prophet 4000xt pci graphic card

the case is a aria mini barebones case with a 300 w psu
