Gigabyte 6600GT TV connection issue,..

    Ok, last time it was with the radeon software problem, now it is the nvidia software proble,...

    The problem:
    I can't seem to get movies get displayed on my TV using the S-video connection. The desktop gets displayed, but not the movies.
    If anyone remembers, i had the same issue with the radeons i had, but i was able to solve it. Now this is the Nvidia software, does anyone has any clue as what to do.
    All I can say is that this is definately some setting problems,...

    ah, i had the same exact problem, did you get the ati problem solved? if so looks back at that thread, are you trying to movies in full screen?, i managed to get full screen tv to work when i have tv going into tv tuner then linking computer to tv via s-video, i was able to watch tv in full screen.

    Yes, i solved the ATi problem. I also posted the pics of the settings as well. The problem was that both the TV and the monitor had to be in identical mode rather than different ones,...
    here i tried the clone settings but it didnt' work. The dual display settings doesn't even show the icons on the desktop. Just shows the wall paper,..

    Try changing the secondary monitor's resolution to 800x600!

    I formated my Hard drive and re-installed everything. Now the clone settings are working,..

    proberbly you had those ati drivers not uninstalled properly, or somthing may have bieng conflicting :\

    Wow you formatted your drive for that? Most likely thre resolution or the settings had the TV as an extended desktop.
