Microsoft Vista - release date?

Anyone know the release date of the next Microsoft OS?

 

I read a review about the Microsoft Vista on a web site called www.compukiss.com. I don't remember the release date, but it is in this article.

 

From what I remember reading, late 2006... October or so.

 

Yeah, that's what the compukiss site said.

I thought I remembered it was due early 2006, but I know things get pushed back.
