    Hi folks,

I have a KM4M motherboard and AMD 2.8 processor. I've been using a 512MB PC2700 DIMM,today I bought 2x 512MB PC2700...and the damn thing now crashes! I've tried both DIMM's singularly and it works ok,on using BOTH DIMM's it results in a hard crash. I've had a look in the BIOS and all seems ok,and I can see 1048576 total reported,so it can see it on start up.

    Any ideas?....

    Regards Mike.

    Howdy,

I've only 2 slots and I've moved the DIMM's around etc,to no avail.... My PC crashes about 20 seconds after the Windows loading screen has cleared.

Check your timings in the BIOS. If it's at Auto now, change to manual and copy the timings you use when running on only one DIMM.

    Good luck
