problem with download family video,help!

Hi, I hope I am using the right thread anyway, I have some family video that I took using my camcorder and I saved it using the software that I got with the camcorder. I thought I could burn it to dvd using the software but I
failed to do so is their a another software I can use that will help me put
my family video on dvd format by way I purchase my digital camcorder from
ebay the software that came with it call VideoWorks6.:P. Also I have Aopen burner I use RW DVD

According to the feature list of that software, it should be able to do what you want. Could you please specify what went wrong?

It is important to acertain what file format was created on your computer when you downloaded (transfered would be a better choice of words I guess) the film to your computer.

It is also very important to know what did you actualy burn to the disk and what did you try to play it with. Was there any type of conversion involved?

My problem was I could not find the file after I save it using the presto
software however I fix the problem by restalling the software. It work find now thank for your help. Happy thanksgiving.
