Hi there, newbie here. I just purchased an Audigy 2 value card for my new Logitech Z5500s I bought, because my pos onboard Realtek Ac97 for some reason never had correct speaker outputs, long story...
Anyways, when I installed my new card, with newest drivers, I get error code 10 in my hardware list: Device Fails to Start. I have an Abit IC7-G mobo, and went to BIOS and disabled on board sound, removed old drivers, removed it from the list, etc etc. I also tried keeping it in BIOS, but disabling it in the list. Played with jumpers on my FP audio (I know this does nothing, but I'm out of options). I've had it with this computer/mobo. EVERYTHING I have ever done has been a trip and has never worked, from HD's, to gfx cards, to psu's, you name it. It's a sound card for christs sake lol. Has anyone else had this issue? Abit forums don't reply to me, and posts on other forums just tell me to get drivers. Where do I go from here? Are there other ideas out there? Thanks guys.
