Good evening folks! Just joined up to the site today, seems like an interesting place with plenty going on so hopefully I can be of some use here myself.
'nother United fan here - bwa ha ha. Welcome to Hardware Forums though, I hope you enjoy your time here
Hey everyone, My name is Kurt and I am 17 and a web developer, mostly specializing in php and mysql I've had this account for awhile but had the name changed to escape a old alias, I know Anit-Trend and Matt555. Ill try to stay somewhat active If you need some help with php or mysql feel free to ask
Hello, ShellyCat here. I'm a student of computer science (love web programming). Like Kurt, I use mainly PHP and MySQL -- oh, wait, isn't some HTML or XML required in there somewhere??? I'm not very advanced at it because I am so busy with school and work, so I tend to do it in short spits. More expert in HTML itself, which is how I started. Also know a smidgen of Perl and JavaScript (I despise JavaScript). PHP, of course, wouldn't be the powerhouse it is if not for the Perl regex engine. Oh, and before they play the "shut up" music, I would also like to thank Apache and Zend... I'm no expert in hardware, but well-educated in the generalities and terminology...the most I've actually done is upgrade a few components (memory, optical and hard drives, PCI card). More experienced at Windows but prefer Linux (the time to research, test, and switch all my work/designs/documents is very hard to find right now). Linux: have used Mandriva, RedHat/Fedora Core, Knoppix, Gentoo, and Slackware...prefer Slackware. Windows: Ffffft! What do they have? Just XP! (Oh yeah, and MS-DOS on a floppy will get you out of a jam.)
i'm a Linux user (100% of the time) & hate Windoze with a passion, but, i like you for saying you prefer Linux Edit: BTW: Welcome to HWF Edit: i usually use kubuntu
Hi, I wanted to introduce myself.. I am new here and I am from Sweden....just wanted to say hi to everyone. Mehmet
