    Hey guys,

    I have a dream ....

I'd like to get an external HD with some kind of ports that you could hook it up directly to a tv, so that you could play movie clips wherever you want...
    Is that possible?

Ok IF that would work, could it be wireless (if you would need a computer to run it and the tv would be in another room) ???

    Plz help

An HD on its own will not be able to do much. Wired or 'less'
It will need A machine of some sort to process the information which is on the hard drive and send it to where ever it is you want it to send the information to (TV, PC monitor, etc).

If you are looking for a portable movie player then you would need something like the new iPod which can play movies. I think it comes with capacities of about 30GB.

That's why I thought about wireless... you would connect the HD to a computer in another room in the house, you would have an os on the hd and would boot from it..... I've seen these HD's with different integrated hubs like firewire etc... and thought even if that particular computer you connect to hasn't any video output you could use ur HD instead...
