    will a 10000rpm speed hard drive really make a noticeable diffrence in gaming compared to a 7200rpm?

    I think 10,000RPM drives are only available for SCSI interfaces.

    Outside of the WD Raptors, yes, anything above 7200RPM is into SCSI territory.
