STOP: 0x000000D1 (0xFF8BA000,0x00000002,0x00000001,0xF3AAA40E) DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL thats what it says on this blue screen after my computer crashes. I cant use 75% of my programs because it will crash. I think its a win2000 problem but i have winxp. Need serious help.
Sounds like driver corruption. What you might try is re-installing your video card first. Try using Driver Cleaner to get rid of old or obsolete drivers after you have un-installed your video card.
It's a win2k and a WinXP problem. A lot of BSOD's are caused by corrupt drivers, most of which are video related. After uninstalling and reinstalling some drivers, try swapping out parts, test them etc.
Ive done it all and nothing is working. I just dont get it, ill go to best buy I guess and just get it replaced or something. Im pissed, every fucking comp ive had has either died or needed replacing.
There is no need to get the whole thing replaced. There is probably at most an issue with one device, and depending on when you purchased it, you can get warranty on it.
Are there any files listed in the BSOD? Also: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324720 That might give you something to look at for fixes.
For my own sanity, please don't do that. It seems to be a driver issue, or one with windows itself. Try reinstalling windows if you have no luck.
