PLEASE CAN YOU HELP? i have recently built a new pc. ive taken my dvd writer from my old pc(it was working perfectly),and placed it it my new setup. it reads fine,but when i try to write,it keeps showing errors at about 80-85%?. im using the same programs as before,and have ruled out the disks because ive never had problems with them on my writer for over a year. ive updated bios/dvd firmware in an attempt to rectify the problem,but still the same. i have a new sata hd,but have set my writer in ide 2 on motherboard,is this correct?. im at a loss as to what the problem is??. any ideas or advise would be greatfully appriciated. my new pc is doin my head in already!:swear:
