geforce 7600 gt vs 7900 gt vs gtx?

    ok got 7600 gt from pc world £170 but looking on net i can get a 7900 gt for an extra £20 wat should i do?

    or for an extra 100 i could get the 7900 gtx? wat should i do?

    nvidia geforce pcie cards im on about!!!


    amd athlon 3500+ pro 1gig ram!

    get the 7600GT, then down the line you would save more money because in the future youll need it so u can get a direct X10 card

    so the 7900 will not suppport x 10?

    As far as i can tell, no. But if you get the 7900 it wont be as bad also because its gonna a while( and i mean a while) before games will support Direct X10 only. Good thing about Direct X10 cards is like ATI said it will support new pixel shader 4.0 and unified shaders. It's all up to your decision though

    At this point it may be worth the wait, later this summer ATI and nVidia will have a new lineup and that may be the DX 10 answer we're looking for. And if nothing else cheaper prices on the current beefy cards.
    Either way if you can get that 7600GT for 140 go for it, if you can find a 7900GT within 80quid or so of the 7600GT that's a good bet too as it's a good 40% faster or so.
