hi yall i have a SB Live 24bit (internal),
its being in pc while i installed Mandriva, seperates hifi amplifier turned off always, but i just figued :swear: it, lets see if sound works, basically no just static (remnisent of XP install, prior to selecting 2.1 speaker system) i think i just need the drivers (tried searching for on net (but not very hard, its easir to just ask) thanks

Run alsamixer (non-graphical) or kmix (graphical) and make sure nothing important's muted.

well thanks but it didn't work,
i think it needs drivers as in XP it didn't work to start with, but after installing the speaker selector and changed it from 5.1 (default speaker system) to 2.1, all i got was static,

    its a SB Live 7.1 24bit (internal)
