I am trying to find a monitor or video card that has the ability to switch to a reversed color mode. In other words, if my screen is showing black text on a white background, I want to be able to switch that display to show white text on a black backgroud. Due to a issue with my eyes, I have problems seeing things if they are too bright on the screen. Using the Windows appearance setting of High Contrast Black helps, but not always. If an application is coded to display white, then white will appear on the screen, regardless of the appearance setting. I started looking for a way to reverse the colors on the screen, independent of any operating system or application setting, and I figured a hardware solution was the way to go. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck finding anything yet. So, I would appreciate any comments/suggestions the community may have. Thanks.
You can always highlight text, that makes text easier to see, i am not sure if there is a way to revert the display, the only way i have managed to do that is through my ATI Catalyst drivers in the control center, and that feature is no in the graphics drivers anymore, stop putting it in on the 6.1 drivers i think, but that only worked in games i am afraid.
