In order to set-up a network for a small business that consists of around 15 computers; what do you need?

I know you need a router, that comes with cables, but what else is there

You'll need a switch to connect all the PCs, and a central server is a necessity. Take a look at SME Server for a domain controller and central file & print server. It's super easy to setup, secure and license-free. You can even use it as a router if you like, though I don't recommend it. If you impliment such a setup I can help out pretty extensively, as I have successfully deployed it for many small businesses already.

lol, yeah, I'm taking Management Information Systems :read: as one of my courses; you'll prolly hear from me again asking related questions.

I'll keep that in mind if I do employ something like this in the future.:good:
