Ive got a ATi Radeon X1800 XT 512mb card in my rig thats happily been chugging along giving me great performance when gaming for about 8 months. The temps on it have stayed nice and low according to the dial in the catalyst control panel even at high load. I recently updated to the latest drivers and now my temps rocket on high demand games sometimes leading to a abrupt computer shutdown! The card is free of dust as is the case and all fans are working perfectly Is there anyone else who has experienced this alarming change when updating to 6.9?
what drivers did you have before?, with the latest catalyst drivers my X800XT PE has been overheating :s.
