Hi everyone...Looking for some input or if anyone has ever experienced anything similar to what I am. I recently had to put a new motherboard in my PC as the old one fried and being cheap like I am I only replaced the one piece I had to. I put a winfast k7s 741gxmg by Foxxconn in my PC and I am running a ATI X700 Pro video card. Problem is when ever I install the drivers for the X700 so I can use it to its potential I can't boot the PC in anything but VGA mode. Or if I do get it to boot it runs in 4bit colour in 800x600 setting. I've swapped an old vid card in and everything seems to run fine. Does anyone know of a conflict between the board and the card? Any suggestions on what I can try to fix this? (I have swapped out all my components into another machine and have resolved that everything else is working fine.)
Sounds logical. Sorry to say this but is this a fairly easy thing to do? Do I disable them by doing somthing in the BIOS, on the board itself, or through software?
U can do it from BIOS.....I think it comes under Peripheral Devices option.....but depends on different BIOS... nd yea, its very easy thing to do....jst have to find that option!
Yeah, it will probably be under the Integrated Peripherals section, but if you have your motherboard manual handy, consult the section on BIOS/CMOS.
