Me and Mrs. KPackage have been at it for over 24 hours.....
This is very unusual and there is a reason....

A number of days ago I got itchy fingers and decided to upgrade my main rig from Etch to Sid. Why? I have not a clue.....

AAAAAnyway, changed repos, added an unstable multimedia repo and went for the distupgrade. Everything went smoothly and everything was working fine.
Yesterday, as I do every day or two, I went into KPackage and then Special and Update. For some reason Apt was complaining about some checksum discrepecies and so, I decided to use the Fixup as I remembered that it solved a problem I had before.
The Apt started going through every package available. As you can guess we are talking thousands!!!! As I do not know too much about apt-fixup, I was too worried to stop it and anyway I am trying to fix something.

So the result is that Fixup is still rolling after 24+ hours and is still going strong. I am upto xmms and all its packages....

Never done it for so long with someone....... :chk:

UPDATE - Even I have limits. After close to 30 hours and as 'Fixup' decided to go passed 'Z', I gave up! I stopped the fixup, rebooted, went to KPackage again, Special -> Update and everything seems to be AOK! WTF?
    Well, I am not complaining......
