    dll problem

No problem. Typically, a lot of start up items are unnecessary. The same goes for services. I can assure you can safely remove the following items, although if you choose to keep them you can: Google Update msnmsgr (unless you use MSN Messenger and want it at start up) OfficeSyncProcess Adobe...

    Blue Screen of death: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Wow, maybe a power surge. Or just poor manufacturing. If it s only 3 months old i would return the faulty ones and ask for new ones! I hope you have some sort of proof of purchase. Parts usually come with a 1 year warranty. If you can't return them, least you can do is take them out.

Am a beginner about this stuff, have one question

Yep. A possible difference may be that your retailer may use a Retailed item and install the hardware without giving you the full contents of the box. For example, some Retail video cards come with extra wires or free games. Your retailer might choose to withhold those items for himself. To make...

Why are these forums so dead?

Yeah, HWF had it's time. Even in 07, when i signed up, posts were flying everywhere and questions were answered the same hour it was posted. I've spoken to Sniper several times about it. About what we think could revive the forum. If you compare HWF to the big boys (toms, bit-tech...) you'll...

    dll problem

You probably installed a program recently and then removed it. Now the item is stuck in your startup item and when it looks for the .dll file at boot, it can't find it. Hence the error. That's my speculation. Download CCleaner and perform a system clean up. Then, open up the "start up" option...

    Best gaming laptop?

Get the Batallion. The difference in GPU's isn't great. The 6990 is better. And also because it comes with an SSD! Alienware has great laptops but when it comes down to price you're paying to have their logo.

Am a beginner about this stuff, have one question

The research is for you to do. The salesman can tell you the parts are from MSI, ASUS... whatever. It's up to you to look at the brands he uses when he puts the parts together. Any chance you can give us a list of parts you want to put together? Let us know what he's charging you so we can...

What exactly is "Dual Channel" RAM?

Dual Channel is a memory configuration which double data throughput when you install 2 ram modules in the first ram slot and usually, the 3rd ram slot. You're motherboard does not support Dual Channel.

Do I need a Sound Card?

One of my friends went as far as saying that his new sound card improved his game performance.. but i think that's a bit farfetched. My friend gave me his Sound Blaster X-Fi and i can't distinguish between it and my onboard sounds...

    Intel motherboard DH67VR for i3-2100 ?

    1. Yes, the Intel does have an integrated HD video card. 2. Get at least 4gb, DDR3. Don't worry about the speed or brand. Just make sure the sticks you get have compatible speeds with your board. 3. Cabinet? I think you mean Case friend. It's always best to have a system with good cooling...

About to order my new comp.

Yep, good build. I would make a few slight changes though: consider a sata3 hard drive and take advantage of its speeds. And lastly, a modular psu might save you the cable mess inside your case ;)
