    ip conflict

Hi, have you tried using a static IP address making sure it's on the same range as your friends Routers DHCP server, it will most likely be the 192.168.1.? range. I would also advise your friends to encrypt his wireless network with atleast WPA or WPA2 encryption as you don't want to leave your...

    Ram speed question please

ram voltage 1.65v will be ok. Cas timings seem fine for that frequency don't think you will get any lower with 1600mhz ram. all the timings mean is how long it takes to respond to the cpu's request. your fine to use that ram/frequency/timings with the I7 975.

How Much Power Will My Upgrade Need To Run

Atx power supply won't fit in a matx case, you'll need a matx psu, I would invest in a 500w psu. your system will use around 390-410w when in use with the graphics card.

I would tend to stick to...

    Ram speed question please

the memory will work perfectly fine, the motherboard support 2000mhz ram+ so 1600mhz is well within it's range. make sure the ram is 1.5v if you go higher this can cause issues for the cpu as the memory controller is intergrated onto the cpu.

Any BottleNecks on my P.C.s ?

pc 1: no bottleneck 800mhz system bus frequency (6400MB/s) and memory bus frequency 400mhz x2 (if dual channel config) which will be 800mhz so memory bus and system bus are both spot on. pc2: 1000mhz on the system bus and memory bus frequency 800mhz x2 which is 1600mhz (12.8GB/s) so your...

Is the PSU or the GPU failing?

psu look right except for the +3.3v, do you still have warrenty on your psu? if so send it back. Your gpu voltages seems fine. I think your temps are perfectly fine even when underload (check in the bios for the cpu,nb & sb temp shutoff temp). the thing that gets me is when you play a game on...

Is the PSU or the GPU failing?

Hi, your psu isn't a cheap brand OCZ generally very good. 600W is more than enough to power your setup including a 9800gtx. What are your temperatures? cpu, nb & sb? the thing that isn't right is your 3.3v rail is puting out 0. could well be a faulty psu. Have you tried running a game or 3dmark...

    BSoD/Vertical Lines: Phenom II x2 550/Radeon HD 5770/Asus M4A78 Plus

Sounds like you have stability issues, Have you tried increasing the Vcore voltage on your cpu? try upping it by about .2 and run prime95 again. The maximum the cpu handles is 1.425v so don't go above that limit. For the GPU issues have you tried just using windows 7 generic drives to see how...
