That is pretty cool, i would say that would be something i would like to see in the US, but i don't think many parents here are "tech savy" enough to really understand a system like that...
yeah, i don't think that those step down tranformers are all that effecient, so i could see why he suggested the 500w, and that seems like a good idea to me as well. On that, you can't find a European version? as i'm positive they use 220/240v.
That being said, they will still have to work on security as well. There was that test around the time Vista was being popularized and Apple's latest OS was the least secure and the quickest to be cracked. It is just less widely used, so less attention is put towards it(as far as building...
Pretty interesting, wondering if any of you guys over there have seen this yet?

Thats pretty cool, and i'm not sure what speeds are like average in the UK, but 1mbps isn't bad at all. I hope some one here in the states makes an adaptation of that technology, that would be cool.
Don't feel embarrassed at all, just be glad that you were sparked to learn and understand more about the situation, and thank you for the link, i'll have to watch that now.
I understand the hate against huge corporations, but the majority of the time Google is on the side of progress and to make a difference. They may make a lot of money in the process, but all the stuff they make is golden. You also forgot Google Voice(which i am a HUGE fan of, purchased that...
i've watched it about three times now and i understand a little more every time i watch it, but i'm not even going to begin to try to describe whats its about, so here is a link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primer_(film)
I think it would be best summed up as a college drama with some suspense and character. I liked it a lot, and it was directed by Fred Durst, who also does all the music work on the film. Which surprised me as i feel he did quite a good job. Anyways, just giving a recommendation as i really...
..... right.. well, i was like hoping for a dollar or something :D Really though, i see lots(as in a group) of like 50 games that start around $20 and end around $50 or so, so thats really not that bad... at that point though, it really would be just better to get credit... kinda. ANYWAYS, i...
i've used them and my dad was all about them for a minute. I haven't had any trouble with them. However, the fastest unit i have seen is in the 200mpbs area. I know Belkin offers a gigabit unit, and its apparently very good as well, but i bet its pricey. With that, a set of these seem to run...
Yeah, but at that point i'd be better off to just go somewhere and trade all my games in. As i doubt i would get a whole lot for games through a garage sale. I dunno, i guess i just have to look at see if anyone else is going something like what i am. Thanks for the input though.
i'm just trying to loose some extra weight, i mean, i thought about just putting the lot on Ebay and calling it a day. Just breaking it down into maybe like section or something, and then selling highly sought games by themselves. Is that the best way to go about it? is there even hope for...
Have a good website for multi-port nics??? Cheapest one i have found is like $130. On a side note, there is one positive that came out of this mess, i can use that router as a switch for capping bandwidth of the others machines in the house. :D
well... router is definitely compounding the issue non the less. It seems that when it undergoes heavy traffic it starts limiting bandwidth...
Well, i think i'd have trouble finding a dual socket machine, but i don't really come across free hardware often at all... But i'll keep that in...
i honestly have no idea right now, my ISP was being horrible.. still is slightly, but its still may be a router issue.. i have no idea right now. ANYWAYS, no, well, maybe. My firmware is from 2007, so unless the problem stems that far back??
If i had the dollars to build a machine dedicated...
