I'm just trying to install games off of cd/dvd's. Legit, OEM copies. Never had these issues before.

Well I did what I asked in the last post, and I get this now (not just in this install, but every install). These are all legal copies, all disc 1 of 1, not sure what the problem is. Corrupt install of Windows perhaps? I really don't want to reload Windows unless absolutely needed.

RAM is 3 gigs. I have the page file set to the default Vista Ultimate uses. In the past (if I remember right) that's worked. Should I set the page file to double the ram like most do on XP/Server 2003?

I'm reloading a PC of mine, on Vista Ultimate. Reloading games back on here, pretty much every game I've tried to install (off of cd/dvd) gives some sort of error saying "error performing inpage operation." What's this mean? Edit: When I install from an iso backup either from an external HDD...

Did a Spybot scan (the application is 100% up to date), came up with nothing. Not sure what the problem is.

Well for some reason one of my PC's says that Vista is at SP3 (which isn't even out yet) Not sure how or why, but consequently I can't update to SP2 for that reason. Any known fix?

To connect to an Access DB from a web application, use something like ColdFusion. application server, middleware | ColdFusion. Might want to dig up a ColdFusion hosting company as well. Lots are out there.

Nevermind, fixed it. Here's the odd thing. I found another power supply.. Plugged that in, worked. Plugged the "bad" PC back up, it powered right on with no problem. Thoughts as to why that happened? Mine is that the power supply is on its last leg... :confused:

Got home from work, PC turned on fine... Keyboard and mouse didn't work. Shut it off, now it won't power back on. I hit the toggle switch on the PSU, and my LED fans flash on for a half second. Is this the psu or mobo? Don't have another to test with...

For some odd reason (on CentOS) When I hit the default page for my Apache installation, it reverts to http://*servername*/apache2-default. How do I remove this appended extension?

Lol @ the stability comment. Anyhow, everything's up to date, and clean (memory is fine, brand new)... aside from the video drivers being probably outdated. Not sure why the nVidia installer says to contact Gateway. Stupid proprietary drivers... Gateway site only has drivers from 2007 for that...

I'm using Radmin to connect to a laptop running Vista Ultimate. Seems like every now and again the laptop crashes, the video drivers seem to just take a s***, and crash the laptop. Nevermind, fixed it. Not sure why but unplugging the 300GB sata drive seems to have done the trick. Any input on why this f'ed it up?

Tried reinstalling the OS on my media center pc. Went for Vista ultimate, disc works on every other PC around here with no problem, never had issues with it. However, trying to install it on a 25 gig partition (Since it's OS Only), it says: "Windows is unable to find a system volume that...
