Half-Life 2 was a great game, just the ending kind of sucked.

Doom 3 is the kind of game where you're amazed for the first hour, and then you realize that you're doing the same thing over and over. The graphics and license keep it from being another mediocre FPS lost in the crowd.

If he's not doing heavy gaming, then maybe a Radeon 9600XT. A good card but still not too expensive.

I just got my new comp up and running, and noticed that the temperatures were real high. The cpu is around 50 idle, and everything else is like around 40. My CPU has the retail heatsink and fan, my power supply fan is working, my video card fan is working, and my case fan is fine. My specs...

Do something to make all these guests join. It's kinda weird when there's two members on and 45 guests.

That happened to my friend too. He had older drivers and every 5 minutes it would crash to desktop. Kinda funny, because he actually beat the game like that before I fixed it for him.
