thanks, have you heard of a program super dvd creator, its a program i have used which is great but the only problem is it will only let me write 2mins of a file and then i cnat write anymore unless i register, is there anywhere i cna get a registered copy of this program or get a registration...

agree with above, the only thing about write speeds is if you do it too fast the you get buffer underrun which im sure you know about,i have got a five year old cd rom and it reads all the disks i burn fine

if you have got a intel prescoot processor then dont download sp2 until you have downloaded the fix from the micorosft website because if you install it and dont do the fix then your machine wont boot up without playing around in the bios which will give you a headache or by reinstalling...

check the RAM, when the computer beeps it usually is a problem with the RAM or any PCI cards inside the machine, it wont be the hard drive, more likely one of the PCI cards will not be in properly

yes im burning on vcd, my player supports vcd i have checked, i used the windows burning tool because it was easiest,i have downloaded the movie from the internet so im not sure if there is something else i need, the movie is smaller than the cd capacity
