    Show us your setup

Thread's a tad old, but it's still relevant. My new setup in my new place at Uni, I don't have my desktop computer with me but that'd just be to the left under the desk.

Holy crap! B Got a console!

I used to have one of those slim-line PS2's - they were great. I think my brother sold it without telling me though... I lent it to him, it disappeared and right off the bat he offered me money in return... he never does that so I was rather suspicious. I have a PS3 now though :D

To shave or not to shave

I can't stand electric shavers, wet shave all the way here. Although recently I bought one of those razors with the batteries in them, the ones that have "micro pulses" (basically it vibrates really quickly) - I must say, much better shave than normal razor.

    an easy one

Yeah the pipe is used in lots of coding languages too - meaning "or" <?php $name = "Matt"; if ($name == "Matt" || $name == "Frankenstein") // if $name is equal to "Matt" OR "Frankenstein" then... { echo "Weirdo."; // display "Weirdo." } else // otherwise { echo "Normal? Doubt it."; //...

Need help!! NO name Digit Camera

This isn't a live chat room - sometimes replies can take a while - or people just can't help - they wouldn't post an un-neccessary post saying something like "sorry I can't help" because there's no need. Right: Where did you get this camera? What came with it when you got it?

    Your South Park Character

I'm not sure if people have seen this before but I thought it'd be fun. Go to: Planearium.de presents: SP-Studio.de Create your character, save it (you'll need to take a screenshot and save it in an image editing program) and then show it here. Here's mine:

    semi-transparent background

In Photoshop just adjust the opacity of the layer you want to be 'semi' transparent. You can do that in the layers palette - select the layer you want and the opacity slider should be at the top of the palette. I think that's what you're trying to achieve.

basic 2 column pure css tutorial

Nice tutorial, I'd like to comment and add slightly if I could: I wouldn't use: <div align="center"> to center the page, it's bad code practice (even though with HTML it'll be valid, xHTML standards are better though and good coding practice / standards are always nice) - do everything with CSS...

    Um... Macs?

With OS X and Apple most new software is being written for the x86 and Intel architecture. I'm not sure if they're also still writing for the older PowerPC architecture. It depends on how much money you're going to spend and what you're going to be using it for: if you've got a couple of...
