I was looking for a few components to build my dad a simple pc for the cheapest amount possible. I chose a motherboard, some RAM, and then when i was looking at the CPU's i realised i had not seen any indication of 64 or 32 bit... What i would like to know is what determines whether a computer...

What really gets to me about a specific friend is that he uses "tbh" after just about every sentence, even when it doesn't make sense! "Yeah, i've just been to the shop to be honest." WHAT'S THE POINT?!

You may have already done this but if you have a folder just full of images and nothing else, it's useless to the robots so add "Disallow /images" or whatever it is. (can't remember the proper syntax as i havn't done it in a while.)

I use vista and i've had no problems what so ever! had some problems to begin with but once you know to 'run as admin' everythings fine. Then again i'm not using it for complicated thing like changing the registry or anything :D

I have a laptop downstairs that currently has no OS and i wanna see what Linux is like, i tried Xfce(?) and didn't get that at all! I didn't get past trying to install the drivers for the wifi card cause of the whole "doesn't run executables" thing. I just want a simple free OS for surfing...

I helped my mate set up his network not long ago. (took ages to figure out that it plugged into the modem, dippy moment :P) If you plug the router into the modem and then you can connect all your things to the router they should all be able to connect to the internet. I think there is a way...
