When you say budget, how much do you mean. Like, $50-$100 or $100-$150?

The 7900gs will treat you good. I just got one a few months ago and am still very impressed with its preformance for only $150.

The nvidia cards have a tempature reading feature that comes with the card on a disc, or at least my 6200 and 7900gs did. You should be able to just right click on your desktop and go to nvidia control panel and the temp. gauge should be in there somewhere.

Well I'm not sure which one is the fastest, but you will be good with either an evga, bfg, leadtek or xfx card.

Thanks guys. BTW I have a future cpu port that should allow me to buy an upgrade card to be able to use AM2 socket cpu's, although i'm not sure if it is worth it yet.

Also I was looking at the 4600. How much of a preformance jump do you think I would see between the 4200 and the 4600?

I can't help but notice how cheap the athlon 64's have gotten and I'm wondering if I should save my money for a cheap/mid level dual cores(say maybe a 4200 or 4400), or buy the AMD athlon 4000 for like $80. Is single core even an option anymore? What with vista and dual threaded games.

I deleted it from the game and the format of the drive that contains the saves is NTFS. However the drive that contains the rest of the game is FAT32.

So let me get this straight. If the slot is a pcieX16 then I shouldn't see a slow down, but if it's anything else I shouldn't bother with an AM2 Proc?

This really isn't my problem so much as it is my little brothers problem but I feel bad. Apparently I deleted his level 14 saved game and I can't find any way to recover it. Has anyone had this problem, and have they ever found a solution or is he screwed??
