I got a new GPU the other day, the problem is it doesn't fit in my case, it's too tall. I'm actually running my PC without the case on with all the insides facing (not against) a wall to minimize the safety aspect. I do have a bigger case but i had a look a while back and i'm guessing...

The picture i posted previously says 40GB straight after i install it onto the HDD after having wiped the HDD.

Got it to work by taking my graphics card out (DVI port on it). Fail. Only showed one partition which was 74.5 and wouldn't let me do anything with it. If i find this screenshot i supposedly made of it i'll show you what it said.

Well that's obviously just because they suck :P

yay haha :P yeah well i've changed the res to 1280 x 1024 and frequency 60Hz, in fact i'm writing this with it now :x: so what do i do now? try booting the disc again with this frequency and res? :)

yeah 1024 x 768 and my monitor can change to 1280 x 1024 (it's in the display options to change to that resolution so i'm presuming it can) My gfx frequency is 75Hz EDIT: so if i understand correctly i need to boot linux and use GParted to resize my partition? Is GParted only usuable by Linux?

Yeah i know my HDD is getting full :) The problem is that when i install vista it seems to take up 40GB! I'm sure thats not right! EDIT: The installing another OS on a partition was a totally off topic question, maybe i should have left that out

yeah i do, does that mean i have a partition? how can it be a partition when theres only one? :confused:
