well i have 4 mini speakers behind the lcd but i passed a strong magnet close to the screen to see if that was the problem but nothing happened to the monitor like it happens to CRTs.

my friend just gave a used lcd monitor and he told me that as soon as i turn it on it will appear dark but after it warms up(About 30mins) it would look normal. and it did but after the third time the top left corner of my screen is still dark is there a way i can fix it? thanks
