I got a 6800XT, unlocked and overclocked to 6800GT specs and I must say...amazing. I run any hl2 mod at 1600x1200 highest settings (I don't touch AA/AF so whatever is default goes) with >40FPS at all times. as you may also see, the rest of my rig is no Beastly McBeaster but it gets the job done

socket a has been dead for a while now, no processors made but you can pick up some on ebay for fairly cheap amd athlon (barton core) is the best socket a got

you could do window mods on side panel and top also, you could run a 5v or 12v motor off your power supply and spin random things pretty much anywhere in/on your case

I got an infa-red usb thing to connect, works. although it's really slow and often disconnects when transfering files. I mean this is really slow, probably no more than 15kb/sec

Hmm yeah I know this thing is usb 1.1, but if my motherboard was in 1.1+2.0 mode you think that it wouldn't cause any problems. I'll test setting 1.1 in bios thanks, didn't even think about that one EDIT-nope

you'll need to reinstall windows or atleast attempt a repair when changing motherboards
