Yea try updating to latest drivers, the beta drivers seem to be better for me than the latest official one, I am currently using 100.87 Beta Windows XP Nvidia drivers.

Yea its all about the CPU in 3DMark and allot of games now. The worse your CPU, the lower your 3DMark score tbh, as there is a CPU score, in 3DMark06 my CPU got around 864 when C2D's are getting like 4000.

With my 8800GTS my 3DMark05 score is 9930, if I had a C2D it would be around 12-14,000 Woah edijs, thats low, only abit higher than what my Radeon9600np got :s

No, the 8800GTS is been extreamly limited by my CPU, thats why I et stuttering, slow crappy PSU. You shouldent stutter on lowest settings though, in F.E.A.R I get no stutters, and I run at all max settings 1440x900 res and 16xQ AA and 16x AA, but its at its limit with this CPU. I think...

Allthough it may just be that the graphics card aint powerfull anough, my old X800XTPE is almost as powerfull as your 7800GS and I got stuttering in NFSMW and F.E.A.R, try turning the graphics settings down, you wont be able to run F.E.A.R at full with that card. I dont know were you got this...

I think it will fit on your case, I have an old case thats about 2 years old and its perfectly fine. The 8800GTS is around 1-2" shorter than a motherboard.
