    Yer I've already tried both of those. The card works perfectly on another Motherboard with the same PSU and I've blown a reblown the slot with a can of compressed air.

    If its only the OS it could just be a simple 'out of range' problem. I know some monitors will give you a no signal message instead of the out of range which can be mightily annoying. It all depends if he s seeing the BIOS or not.

    From what I can tell Yes. It automatically shuts off the integrated graphics (because there is no option to turn it off it just puts AGP ahead of integrated) but I have no display to see the BIOS anyway.
