    8500GT 512 DDR2 + DDR2 RAM or 8600GT 256 DDR3 with DDR2 RAM?

    I know that if the video ram is compatible with the system ram (ddr2 is what i got), there will be an option of shared memory, but what's better: having a 512 ddr2 video card opening to more shared ram up to 768 or even 1 gb? Or just sticking with a 256 ddr3 video card?
