I've just got hold of 3DMark2001 SE but whenever I try to load it up, it says that I need DirectX 8.1 or higher ... of course, I have DirectX 9 but it only seems to register as DirectX 8.0. Any suggestions? I've tried reinstalling DX9 and I've updated all my video and nForce2 chipset drivers. I have Athlon 2400 CPU, Win2K. MSI K7N2 Delta-L mobo and Sapphire Radeon 9200 256MB vid card. Thanks in advance!

Get the patch 330 off Futuremark's website. That supports DX9.

B's exactly right. And for the future, if a program reports that you don't have the proper version of DirectX, you can check: Start --> Run --> dxdiag. If the DXdiag tool reports the proper version with no problems, it's more than likely the software that's having the problem.
