6800GT Graphics Card: I have a power question.

I recently bought an Albatron 6800GT PCI Express Graphics Card
I installed it and it worked fine until I got an error message one day that said, "Not receiving enough power, card has gone into a low power state to prevent from being damaged." I looked into my manual and thought the problem was my power supply so I upgraded my 420Watt to a 550Watt and again all was well. Just now I was sitting at my computer playing BF2 and the card error message came up again.

What exactly are the power requirements for the 6800GT and do I need some sort of special power connector to connect it to my PSU? It has that 6 pin connector and the two 3 pin cables coming off of it, do I plug both of them in? I ask this because the manual that came with card was for the AGP version and had a totally different plug.

Any help would help thanks :)

You should always plug in a power connector to every socket at the back of the card, so if you've left one not plugged in then do so. I don't own a PCI-E card, but I believe it should be a molex connector, the type that you use to power your hard drive (3 pins).
