9600 graphics problem

lately since i installed standard drivers, i have only being playing gta sa, but nearly everytime i play it, i can play it for a while, then the computer chrashes and i have the restart the computer then, is this actually the graphics card causing this, or could it be the game?

i have recently overclocked the card from 325 to 486, but its back at normal speeds now.

have i damaged the card?

Usually its down to a component overheating. Whats your CPU temps? And by standard do you mean windows generic or the ATi catalyst ones?

windows generic, never had problems before, my cpu temperatures are about 50 idle, and up to 62 on gta sa, now i think its faulty readings showing those temperatures beocuse it cant be down to the cpu
