    Hey guys,

Recently I have been having a really strange problem, randomly WoW will start to appear to run too fast, by this i mean all the animations on my character will be accelerated instead of the super-slick usual ones. When i am on a gryphon i will arrive at my destination far too early and have to wait to get off, if i am running next to someone i will actually pull away from them.

I have been trying to find the cause to this random thing, i used to fix it by re-installing my gfx drivers but recently that stopped having an effect, now i have found that resetting my bios fixes the issue.

This happens to me under WinXPsp1 and sp2 fully up to date, i have tried just about every version of nivida drivers dating back to the 50.xx series (this has been going on a long time), at the moment I am on a totally clean install with only WoW and Office installed and it is still happening sometimes.

More recently resetting the bios seems to have been becoming the sure fix for this problem, but i dont feel like i should really have to do this every time i want to play, and what is more worrying is not having any idea what is causing the problem in the first place. After resetting the bios all I change is the FSB and multiplier as my board doesnt correctly do this for me (166 11), and change the time and date in windows so i dont think it is any changes i am making, is there anything that could be messing up my bios?

Some people have said that it may be a network problem but my flatmate is using my connection wirelessly and he has no probs at all :(

Anyone got any ideas why this could be happening?

    My system:
    AMD Barton 2500+
    1gb 2700 crucial ram
    300+ GB's of HDD space
MSI NX6600 GT 128mb ram (agp)
    Epox 8rda mobo (nforce2)

Hehe, i have tried that but they are total no hopers when it comes to problems that may be actaully with the computer the client is running on, and as i seem to be fixing this with a bios reset thought some of the knowledgeable guys here might have some insight :D
