God this is annoying my cousin has had it and has gave it me back and said give it to him at a later date coz hes been busy. WINDOWS AINT PICKIN IT UP BIOS AINT PICKIN IT UP but i can feel it runnin PLEEEEEEEAAASSSEE HELP COZ ITS REELI ANNOYING
 
Make sure the jumpers are set correctly for Master or Slave. Also make sure the data cable (IDE or SATA) is fully inserted.
 
Yup done that and it picked it up once but then windows wudnt start so I restarted and now it won't :(
 
No it can't be dead. If its dead then it means i have to send it back. If i have to send it back then i have to tell my parents. If i have to tell my parents then it means that they'll say to me "Oh so its another thing thats broken is it?" They'll think i ballsed it up but all i did was try to install WMP10 and it stopped working.
 
ITS FORMATING.....well it started then failed but ive started it again

it failed again so now im tryin to format the other partition

Haha its formatting the little :swear: wont get past me. I had to keep messin wiv it till it formatted. In the end i ended up deleting the partitions and making two new equal sized ones and formatted but it worked. HA THE HD DID NOT GET THE BETTER OF ME
